Thank you very much to all of you who visited on 23rd and 24th November 2019 for our first official Ouseburn Open Studios. We enjoyed meeting you and had some really interesting conversations. There was a lively atmosphere and a lot of laughter in the building both days.
The weather could have been a little better on the Saturday (it poured with rain all day) but we were lucky that it wasn’t snow and ice as the last full weekend of November can be – and it was much nicer for wandering between studios on the Sunday. Some of the artists put up some colourful bunting on Sunday morning to help people see where we are and to add to the festival atmosphere.
Ouseburn Trust’s volunteer photographer, John Hipkin, did a splendid job again this year of capturing the artists, designers, makers, musicians in their studios. If you want a reminder of what you saw or to see what you missed, check out the album on their Facebook page.
